Our NGO Svaastika is based out of Trivandrum, and have been initiating the concept of well-being for 5 years now. Currently we are running a Mental Health Awareness Campaign, 2021 for which we require funds.

Do you Know someone who has ended their life out of depression ? The first question we ask is ‘ Why? If only they had talked to someone.’
Mental health awareness is the need of the hour. Whenever you feel low or face any issues , remember it’s ok to talk . There are online , offline paid and even free counselling support available in every part of the globe . But unless and until you speak up, no one will know what you are facing . So remember it’s ok to talk.

This campaign is aimed at setting up a toll free helpline to ensure that you get to speak to a professional if you are feeling low. Since it is an online service, this campaign transcends geographical boundaries. We also believe that the probability of a person reaching out to us would be much higher if it does not involve a physical meeting.

While poor physical health is tangible, poor mental health is often hidden, because of the stigma attached to speaking up about mental health. Depression, anxiety, Panic attacks...are so common today, it’s nothing short of a pandemic.
