Help My Mother-in-law Fight Chronic Liver Disease

My name is Bhilare Ravikiran and I am here to fundraise for my mother in law, Geeta Udayshankar Rugge.

Geeta Udayshankar Rugge is 57 years old and is residing in Pune, Maharashtra. Geeta Udayshankar Rugge has been diagnosed with Chronic Liver Disease (Liver Cirrhosis).

My mother-in-law was always fit and didn't take any medicines when she was fine, one day we saw her eyes turned yellow, suspecting it to be Jaundice we took her to a normal clinic. After further diagnosis we found that her stomach was filled with ascitic fluid. On additional check-ups it was diagnosed that she has developed liver Cirrhosis and needs a liver transplant. It was a shocking moment for our entire family to know this. Its even sad because she couldn't spend time with her newly born twin grand childrens. (baby girl and baby boy)

Since Sept-Oct 2019 Geeta Rugge is undergoing treatment in KEM hostpital , Pune and fighting strongly to stay alive.

Geeta Rugge has undergone multiple admission in KEM hospital which has cost more than 6lacs so far.

We have sold our savings (gold and some other valuables) and arranged with some family support an amount which takes care of Geeta Rugge's medical expense so far, however the estimate for the Liver transplant is 21 lacs, we will require your help to raise this amount and help us get Geeta Rugge back to her normal life and let her play with/raise her grand children's.

Please come forward to help me save my mother-in-law. Any contribution will immensely help my family. I need your support to bring them home. Do contribute and share this campaign link with your friends and family.

Thanks,
Ravikiran Bhilare

Hi All,

I am sharing an update with you all, as you all really mean a lot to our families and we thank you all for your love and support.

Today is my mother-in-law's birthday :-) it wouldn't have been possible without your help for her to see this day. As mentioned earlier, she underwent the surgery on 26th Jan, since then she is improving day by day. She wanted to thank all of you personally on this day, so posting some images, please take time and see!

Thanks again,
Ravikiran Bhilare, Rugge and Munoli Family :-)

Hi All,

We got Geeta Rugge home on 3rd Feb 2020 around 9.35 pm IST from the hospital and as per my earlier updates, she has undergone the cadaveric liver transplant surgery on 26th Jan 2020.

All your help was utilized for her transplant cost. Her health conditions are good, and we hope they continue to remain good.

She is now home, doctors have asked us to take at-most care for the next 3 months, post that she will be completely fit. Once she is fit and fine she will be able to play with her newly born grand-twins (Mittu and Manu) (a girl and a boy). In case its possible I will share her happy pics later.

All your wishes and financial support is unmatchable and unforgettable for us.  We as a family will always be thankful for all your help.

For those who know me, please don't hesitate to connect with me for any help ever required, (I will try to return the favor by any means possible for me). You have really brought smiles back to our faces.

I am stopping this campaign as no financial help is required anymore, Please keep helping the needy people as an when its possible for you!
God bless you!

Thanks from the bottom of our hearts,
Ravikiran Bhilare & Rugge/Munoli Family :-)

Hi All,

Even if I thank you all 100 times it’s not going to compensate for all the help and support you have shown towards my mother-in-law during the days of this campaign.

Special thanks to Milaap. The way I continuously got support, and finally, I was able to use all your help for my mother-in-law’s surgery.

The surgery started on 27th Jan 1 am IST and was completed at around 10.30 am IST. The surgery was successful. Post-surgery, my mother-in-law is in the recovery room and everything is looking positive based on her reports.

The Doctors have mentioned that even though the reports are fine we need to take utmost care for next 3 months. Hopefully, she will be discharged from the hospital on 3rd Feb as what that it seems to be the most feasible day as per doctors. And for the next 3 months, we have frequent follow-ups with the doctors.

All this was possible with your help and prayers, and support from Milaap. I thank you again from the bottom of my heart.

Regards,
Ravikiran Bhilare & Rugge/Munoli Family
