Gautham (aka Iyyanar), an ultimate frisbee player from Auroville suffered a tragic fall resulting in a spinal fracture. He has also suffered damage to his nervous system and has lost mobility in his legs.

 He has been admitted to a private Hospital, in Chennai and needs to undergo immediate surgery to fix his spine and regain mobility.

Gautham works as a cook in Auroville and his family does not have the means to support his immediate medical expenses. Any contribution large or small will go a long way in helping them.

He has played for Alphas and Spinergy and is the fourth frisbee player in his family after his sisters Selvi (an India veteran and Spinergy Club leader), Divya (Alphas) and Kumari (Spinergy).

We call upon the Ultimate Frisbee community in India and around the world to come together and help Gautham play again.
