Gandhimathi Mani hailing from Thiyaganur Pudhur village of Salem District in Tamil Nadu is a Homemaker and a Daily Wage Earner. She is seeking help to build a Toilet Facility for her family. Her husband is also a daily wage earner and their daughter is studying in college. Her family also has her 85-year-old Mother-in-Law. Her family falls under Below Poverty Line. They all live together in a single room hut, and find it difficult to meet their daily expenses. They usually seek privacy for their toilet needs under the dense bushes in secluded areas or at faraway fields, which are filled with snakes and insect pests, thereby posing a serious threat to their lives. Also, Gandhimathi has security concerns for her young daughter, as there might be unruly men and criminal minded people all around us.
