The second wave of deadly COVID-19 virus has been devastating. Now the cases have reached to our villages where more than 60% of our population reside. With lack of medical infrastructure, the condition shall only worsen with time if the cases are not dealt at Panchayat level.
After helping more than 5000 COVID patients in rural areas with our Free Doctor Consultation initiative and seeing the spike in covid serious cases, the BigOHealth is collaborating with Mission: Oxygen for All, a citizen collective being led by Shourya Vikram Shah, and are setting up our first Community Covid Care Center in Singahi, District Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh.
BigOHealth along with Mission: Oxygen For All, aim to fix the gap for the person in need till he/she is admitted to the hospital or the individual is in home isolation. Our oxygen relief can be used by them in those golden hours.
We aim to procure:
-10 Oxygen concentrators - to be used in rotational basis
-A Power back up system
-10 Oxygen cylinders
-Basic medicine kits for 2500 patients
-10 Thermometer and oxymeter
-Tie up with ambulance services
-Deploy 2 technicians cum nursing staff at the center
-2 local doctors at Pro Bono in beginning, if possible
-24/7 online consultations with specialist doctors
