A violent flood has devastated the lives of people living in Hojai and it has engulfed other villages too. Thousands of people appeal for help. All of their life savings and valuables have been flown away with the water.  
Currently, 2 lakh people in hojai districts of Assam have been affected by floods, with the hill district of Dima hasso getting cut off from the rest of the state after landslides triggered by incessant rain snapped rail and road links. Hojai is one of the districts of Assam in India where the total population stands at 235,030 with the entire region being heavily affected by the rain.
This natural disaster calls for a national spirit where people can get together and help each other in this heart-rendering situation. A strong and sympathetic appeal is made here to support the affected family by contributing to this campaign.
