The states of Assam and Meghalaya are again facing havoc caused by floods. Each year the people fight the overflowing rivers with all they have. Many lost their lives and more than a hundred villages have been destroyed. This year the flood situation in the North East is worse due to the ongoing pandemic and it is up to us to provide a helping hand to the victims and help them survive this tragedy. Together we will rise out of the waters stronger than ever before.
And hence, We, the members of SHILLONG SOCIO-CULTURAL ASSAMESE STUDENTS’ ASSOCIATION in collaboration with ST ANTHONYS COLLEGE ASSAM STUDENTS’ ASSOCIATION and RAMDHENU CLUB want to raise funds to help these needy with the little that we can.
