The Covid-19 pandemic has shown us the worst of the scenarios and circumstances that would otherwise seem unimaginable have now become a part of our daily lives. The lockdown has shattered many families, financially and mentally. Laptops, mobile phones and other gadgets have now replaced the traditional usage of desks and greenboards for learning. Technology has truly proven to be a boon for us during this pandemic, however it is a luxury which is not accessible to all. The pandemic has also changed our lives in numerous ways, some for better and some for the worse, especially in our country where people have been overburdened with financial stress, unemployment and failed business ventures due to the uncertainty that prevails due to the lockdown. Many families who are having a hard time because of these difficulties have chosen to give a hault to the education of their children, with plans allowing them to continue their academic sessions when normalcy returns to the country. I myself have come across these situations in my locality and I find it extremely heartbreaking to see a kid having to waste an entire year because of a virus.
Should we allow this pandemic to intervene with a child's right to receive education?
Let us come together to fight for this cause and raise the amount that can be contributed to the families that have kids who can be respected and influential leaders.
A small contribution from your end can help with the education of children coming from such families.
1.We will research about the kids who have been put on hold from their education due to family's financial condition during covid and give them the part of our contribution directly to the school authorities.
2. We will also reach the local NGOs and need-centric locations where students are unable to have access to books and provide them with the necessary materials and offer online tutoring.
