I have secured admission at the Maastricht University in the Netherlands for LL.M. in Intellectual Property and Knowledge Management.
The total cost of education and living expenses for a year is 20,00,000 out of which I have been able to save 8,00,000. The rest needs to be paid by 1st September, 2019.
As my father suffers from a neurological condition called Trigeminal Neuralgia, he has been unable to work and is now resting at home for over 2 years. My mother is the sole earner in the family and though her salary is enough to provide us sustenance, it is not nearly enough to bear the burden of a heavy personal loan.
Out of the remaining 12,00,000 I have applied for an Education Loan without collateral for 7,00,000 at the State Bank of India. I am now trying to secure the remaining 5,00,000.
The reason why banks and NBFCs are not an option for me anymore is because we do not have any property to offer as collateral. SBI is the only bank that allows loan up to 7,50,000 without collateral. Hence, I'm trying this approach.
My family has always focused and let me focus on my education. I am very focused on making my career in the field of modern Copyright and this Masters degree will help me exponentially in it.
