Just a day ago our world was drastically turned upside down with the sudden and unfortunate discovery that my loving husband, Farhan, has a tumor in his brain. The tumor is so big that it requires immediate surgery. As one can imagine, this was the most agonizing heartbreak I have ever felt. Just sitting next to his hospital bed, I am looking back and thinking how this can happen to a person who always wishes best for everyone. I guess it's life.
Many people have contacted me with positive uplifting stories of full recoveries from similar circumstances that has given me BIG hope for the same for my husband! Though, I know that the successful outcome of this journey is a painful, very long, and full with difficulties. When you pair it with the astronomical financial obligation created you can not help but feel an immense strain.
