Kalingarayan Canal is a 56.2-mile (90.5 km) long irrigation canal in the Erode district, Tamil Nadu, India. It was constructed by Kongu chieftain Kalingarayan and completed in 1283. The canal's source is the Kalingarayan Dam near Bhavani, Erode. The canal irrigates approximately 15,743 acres (6,371 ha) of agricultural land.

Erode Spice Round Table is part of Round table India and our Motto is Freedom Through Education, which provides us a platform to be recognised in building schools for the children at places where it is most required. We also get involved in other community service activities and as part of our Go Green project we are planning to plant 25000 neem and palm seeds along the canal bank for 25km which will greatly increase the groundwater capacity and slow down rainwater runoff, reducing erosion, pollution and recharging aquifers.
