Prasad was a trained Telugu language scholar and had worked as a dedicated journalist for a leading Telugu daily newspaper. Along with this, Prasad was also a teacher for 15 years. He was one of the founding members and the secretary of Telugu Sahithya Samiti, Agiripalli, India. He was also associated with BhashaGeeks as an evangelist for the Telugu language. He was also championing the cause of multilingual languages and traditional cultural heritage till his last breath.
Beyond his professional realm, Prasad hailed from a humble family, he was an obedient son, loving husband, caring father, and a loyal friend. Due to the ongoing pandemic, schools were shut in his town, and subsequently, he lost his job in 2020. Being unemployed for almost a year, and his untimely demise has created a severe financial crunch for his family. His children, Yathindranath, aged 13, and Pina Mahadevnath, aged 11, are on the verge of completing their school education, and dropping out of school at this stage could shatter their dreams.
We, friends of Prasad have come together to start a fundraiser to support his family’s livelihood and help his children continue their education.
We welcome any contribution, small or big, to support his family who is struggling to make ends meet. You contribution will go a long way to help his kids get educated and give meaning to their life. Sharing this campaign with your friends and family will also help us reach out to more people.
