Support Elisha Recover From Chronic Myeloid Leukemia With Blast Crisis

My name is Elisha and I am 36 years old. I am here to raise funds for myself. I am working as a private employee. I live in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

I'm suffering from chronic myeloid leukemia with a blast crisis from more than a year. I'm receiving medications at Lilavati Heart Care and Medical Hospital but not yet admitted.

Until now, I've spent about Rs. 1200000 and I've arranged the amounts from friends and family. In the next 38 days, I need Rs.5,500,000 more for medications, transplantation and post-transplantation treatment.

Please come forward to support my cause. Any contribution will be of immense help. Do contribute and share this campaign link with your friends and family.

Dear Supporters,

We have some unfortunate news to share. Elisha passed away earlier last month. She fought like a champ but unfortunately, her body could not fight the mighty ailment. We pray her soul rests in peace and wish her family strength in these times of inconsolable grief.

At Milaap, we release the funds raised only against utilization for the intended purpose, supported by a treatment update as well as bills and invoices given to us. Partial funds were transferred to the Lilavati Hospital's account to cover the medical expenses. But given Elisha's sudden demise, the complete funds raised for her treatment was not utilized.

After close consultation with the YPO folks who worked closely with Elisha, it was agreed to create a memorial fund in her name from the unutilized funds. 'Elisha Memorial Fund' will be used to fund immediate medical treatment of kids and women; who are fighting an ailment similar to Elisha's. Giving those in need the hope and support to fight and survive this grave ailment.

We do understand that some of you may like a refund - 100% of your contribution will be refunded - please do reply to us by 13th March 2020  to initiate the process.

However, some of you would like to redirect your donation to some other needy case who needs urgent treatment. Meet Ayushi Singh, the first beneficiary of the Elisha Memorial Fund.  A patient from the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Specialised Hospital and Research Centre, Kolkata.

Ayushi Singh is a 4-year-old girl who is suffering from Blood Cancer. She is currently admitted and receiving Chemotherapy at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Specialised Hospital and Research Centre, Kolkata.

There are high chances of success if her treatment is pursued aggressively. She recently underwent her first 2 chemo cycles and is undergoing her 3rd chemo cycle. The fundraising campaign started for her has raised approximately Rs. 3.30 lacs when this update is going out. Her bone marrow transplant will be scheduled soon after the completion of the 3rd chemo cycle. Her family will be immensely grateful to receive any help to cope up with piling hospital bills and be able to fund the transplant. Please find her campaign link below for more details.

Thanks for your love and support.
