Following his basic schooling, he pursued higher studies in Dharwad, where he earned his Master's Degree in M.Sc (Agri). Then he joined the military to serve for five years in the event of a national emergency. For 30 years, he was the Deputy Director of the Sainik Welfare Department.
He intended to provide outstanding education to the youth of his hometown after he retired. So, with the help of his family (daughter and son-in-law), he established a small school in the town for people from low-income families those that are keen to learn. Many students were enrolled in MBBS, IIT, VIT, and NIT programs, and are alumni of prestigious institutions.
Now that it has been ten years since the trust has started. He died on August 28, 2021, with all of his goals of building bigger infrastructure still remains unfulfilled, I want to accomplish the dream of my father, who wanted to make the students of our little town have a similar opportunities like the bigger cities. The university charges fees, which is insufficient to cover faculty salaries, and hence there is no money left for construction.
We believe that great accomplishments are not achieved by a single person, but rather by a community, like Milaap. So, my humble request to the members of this organization is that you kindly assist our university in raising funds to develop this college to keep on supporting children who will contribute to a valuable society.
Please assist us.
Thank you very much.
