Many children from underprivileged communities fall out of the standard education program for a variety of reasons. Sometimes they help their parents with work, sometimes the school is too far from home, sometimes they find it very hard to integrate with their peers in the mainstream schools and get alienated at an early age. They drop out before they could get to experience good education and what changes can it bring to their lives.

Currently, team Ovee engages with kids from an Adivasi backgrounds in the villages of dhangarwadi, kolam vasti and mendhala to bring them closer to mainstream education. For the past one year they have started by interacting with kids through songs, stories, art and crafts. Kids find these activities very interesting and they go home with a feeling of happiness, excitement and also a realisation that they learnt something new. This fun way of learning continued and one day the kids wanted to learn to read and write their names. They overcame their fear and dislike for formal settings of education and became more open to learn. They accepted the volunteers at Ovee as their teachers and thus began a journey of back to school!

We believe that to enlighten everyone by improving their livelihood through various interventions ineffective and sustainable manner
Ovee trust has been operating the 'Balnagari Learning Center' at Dhangarwadi, a small hamlet in the Mendhala village, of Yavatmal district, since July 2020. The people in Dhangarwadi belong to the Dhangar community (the shepherds) and rely on the traditional occupation of sheep and goat rearing for livelihood and sustenance. In order to secure this, they constantly travel through the forests, farms, and village settlements. The community is constantly on the go and rarely stays in the same place for long periods. As a result of their occupation, they are compelled to migrate along with their children. This results in the exclusion of children from mainstream education.
Through the 'Balnagari' initiative, we provide opportunities for children between 3 to 12 years of age to learn new skills in a student-friendly environment. The emphasis is on making children school-ready. We establish a conducive environment that encourages these youngsters to enrol and succeed in school, further developing their social abilities and skills. Balnagari does not have functional classroom space. It is an open school in a way. Under these conditions, the task of imparting experience-based, level-wise, action-oriented education is done through small and large groups. We are currently working with a total of 70 children under this initiative.

we run this campaign for financial support for balnagari. balanagari does not have any funding support. so we can develop our learning centre,we can purchase learning material like books, notebook, school bag , creative art and craft material and also we can provide better nutrition supply for our children.
