Street dogs are some of the happiest animals, wagging their tails at the slightest hint of love or attention. But they live in some of the most precarious situations. One such pup, our happy-go-lucky Ebony of only two years of age, lived under a bridge on a certain Ring road in South Delhi. Whilst she was dancing and prancing around the sidewalk and crossing over for her daily feed from her favourite feeder, she was hit by a speeding car and injured to an extent that she lay lifeless for several hours before being discovered and taken to a vet for treatment.

The extent of her injury is uncertain as the x-ray results project fracture in the pelvic region along with joints dislocation and Acetabulum Fragments.
She was lucky to have survived from a spinal Injury which could have taken lovely Ebony’s young life.

Ebony lies in a one of Delhi's animal welfare hospital called “Pet’s and Vet’s” where the doctors are attending on her recovery and have advised complete bed rest for the next two months.

The treatment fee would be exorbitant as the costs pile up for two months. We hope and plea for aid from the kind animal lovers/sympathizers to help us save our dear Ebony’s soul and so she can be the old frolicking happy puppy.
