"Ours is not the task of fixing the entire world all at once, but of stretching out to mend the part of the world that is within our reach." - Clarissa Pinkola Estés

Ebenezer Community School serves the underprivilege community in Chattarpur (a suburb of Delhi). It was started by a local church who saw the need for intervention in primary education in this vulnerable community. Metro Delhi International School (MDIS) has supported Ebenezer for many years in teacher training, finances, educational resources, furniture, IT infrastructure, English language support, legal compliances, volunteers, special school events, etc.

Earlier this year, we ran a campaign to provide Relief Kits for the families of these students who were severely affected by the lockdown. Many of you rallied and we are grateful for your support. With your contribution we managed to provide food and hygiene products to these families.

This Christmas, far from allowing it to be a lonely celebration in these times of social distancing, we want your help in bringing some cheer and warmth into their homes.

The MDIS Student Government is spearheading this drive to provide 200 children from Ebenezer Community School, gifts during this season of love, joy and celebration. We are aiming to raise Rs 1,00,000 to be able to purchase items for each family. Students from MDIS will be responsible in the purchasing, packaging and delivering of these gifts, all with the necessary safety precautions adhered to.

We are grateful for your continued support. Please donate generously and spread the word. Thank you!

“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
