This fund raiser is directed towards providing a sense of security amongst girls in the age group of 5-19 years.
Our Team will be going from Orphanages, Girls shelter homes, NGOs, Schools and rural areas with the aim to provide the basic training to these girls.
The training will be

HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF WHEN NO ONE IS AROUND
IMBIBING A SENSE OF SAFETY AND PROTECTION

We believe that the self defense training will help them be more confident and secure.

Population covered-
Girls in the age group of 5-19 years in and around Delhi

The Funds will be used in -
Providing Self defence training to this population. We want them to be able to stand up for themselves.
Trained personnel will be instrumental in imparting the training
Providing incentives to the orphanages/schools participating in our Project


Orphanages covered-
Bal Sahyog- All branches
Apna Ghar- All branches in Delhi
Kilkari Home for Girls
Rain Baseras in Darya Ganj, Laxmi Nagar, Geeta Colony, ITO, Patel Nagar, Rohini, Ghaziabad
Street kids (girls) who live on the footpaths at night at Kashmiri Gate Bus Stand, Rohini East and Rohini West.
Slums in Geeta Colony, Okhla, near AIIMS
How will the funds be used
To provide training in all the areas mentioned and even more in the duration of 3 months
Trained Experts (Qualified to teach Self Defense) will be hired for this purpose with the aim of covering some 500 girls.

Summary of budget allocation-

The Amount of Rs 1 Lakh is to be used in-
-Hiring Training Coaches- Rs 40,000
-Transportation of the team to all the sites in Delhi- Rs 10,000
-Incentive to the Head of the Orphanage in the form of certificates-Rs 20,000
-Incentives to the girls after successfully completion of the training in the form of certificates and some momento-Rs 30,000

If we think providing training or a sense of protection to a girl will not benefit.
Ask any girl who has that sense of confidence- It means a lot and we want to inculcate that sense of protection in as many girls as we can.
