My name is Dr. Fazil and I am here to raise funds for ECMO support and lung transplantation of my friend Dr Malla Ratna Maunika who is 28 years old, doing her final year Post Graduation.

Dr. Malla Ratna Maunika lives in Puducherry with her parents. She is very bright and dedicated to human cause. She finished her MBBS with distinction, with several gold medals. Now, she is pursuing M.S (General Surgery). Her life ambition is to give service to needy and poor as she is from rural area and understands the sufferings of poor people and rural people. During the Pandemic, she has also looked after many round clock Covid duties/services.  

Unfortunately, She is suffering from Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) & Acute renal failure for the past few weeks. Presently, she is under care and treatment at Dr. Rela Institute and Medical Centre, Chrompet, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. 

She is currently admitted in ICU and is on  ECMO support and renal support at Dr. Rela Institute and Medical Centre, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Till now the demanded medical charges are estimated to be Rs.1.67 crores. Until now, we've paid about Rs. 72,51,500. 

As of 04/11/2021 , she is on her 72th day in ECMO, her life is directly dependent on ECMO support, then followed by Lung transplant.

Now, since her improvement is very poor on ECMO, She requires lung transplantation for survival. For lung transplantation, it was registered with competent authority also. The estimated charges for lung transplantation at the hospital is around Rs.35,00,000/-. 

We  arranged the above amount of Rs. 72,51,500 from savings, loans, etc. In the next few days, we need Rs.35,00,000 for Lung Transplant and Rs. 1,00,00,000 more towards the pending bill and to bridge the ECMO Charges and other medical expenses.
