Meet the 14 Young Girls from Maharashtra Village -Manutai KITS Angels who are trying to Represent India in World of Robotics. At a time when the national slogan is Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, these girls are aiming high to try and put India on the map of world Robotics.
The race for that began one and half years ago , and started a journey that has resulted in them winning India’s First Lego League (FLL) Robotics Competition. The victory also secured them a direct spot in the next level of the competition which is to be held in the United States. The competition dates are from 30th April - 02nd May. The girls, aged 13- 18 years, are coming to robotic class all the way from their village to city of Akola, to KITS developing centres for Robotic Classes, an exhausting journey they take each day. And after reaching back home doing house hold work is part of their daily routine, most of the parents of the girls are just earning hand to mouth, and cannot afford to provide them with recent trends in technology of online classes and cannot provide them the facility of mobile or internet to their use. Trend of online class room is quickly becoming the biggest problem faced by all the girls coming to class. And not having enough resources to purchase the mobiles and Data Dongel is second most experienced difficulty by all the girls, due to which they need to come to class all the way from their village to get prepare for Robotic competition. Saving their time will contribute to great help. Which in turn will save their energy which they can utilise in making better living and can give more time to their academics and robotic class too.
Providing help for Mobile phone and Data Dongel will surely give wings to them to chase their big dream to become robotic engineers because KITS Social foundation feel that being short of resources should never be hurdle to raising talent and specially for girls where we speak of equality for them. So in order to support the KITS Social Foundation in helping these girls, we at MindTickle support this initiative to raise the funds for donating mobiles & dongles to these young girls from Akola . Smallest of help is appreciated!
