This young lab - Her name is Zoey (Insta ID - @zoeythelab) had a very tough life. She was once a lovely companion in a home but for unknown reasons she was abandoned in the middle of a forest. She kept waiting for a month for her owners to come back and would not allow another human to touch her. After all the struggle, she was rescued and kept with the most loving foster parents who took great care of her.
During the initial checks we found out that she was pregnant and also had an enlarged spleen. We had to wait to treat for her condition till she gave birth. Tragically, she lost all her babies and we had to perform an emergency C section.
Now she is being diagnosed with Multiple Tick Borne Disease along with which she needs to be treated for her enlarged spleen condition.We are treating her at the best veterinarian in the city and no doubt she has a wonderful chance of recovery.
Our hands are restricted because of supporting other rescues.
