Parveen Dhingra, a resident of South Delhi, has been involved in the humanitarian project of providing care to over 200 street dogs of Sarojini Nagar, Moti Bagh, and Netaji Nagar for over 12 years now. Every day, she spends hours feeding Pedigree, biscuits, chicken rice, bread, and milk to dogs that have suffered desolation due to societal neglect. The condition has worsened since a Delhi government and NBCC renovation project pushed residents out of the area, leaving the dogs completely alone with no one to care for them.
However, she has been doing this on the mere support of her salary, which has led to personal misgivings.
We write to you to humbly request a donation that helps Parveen continue her journey to care for these helpless beings. She spends anywhere between Rs 2000-3000 every day to provide multiple food items and hopes that you can share her burden by bestowing monetary or material contribution. We will be grateful if you could consider proving her with a monetary sum or a food item on a weekly/monthly basis. The food items that the dogs regularly consume are Pedigree dog biscuits and Parle G biscuits. The chicken rice that Parveen feeds is made fresh every day on order, which costs Rs 1500.
We will be extremely thankful if you could get in touch and discuss further details of your contribution. Kindly contact 9871502355 for any further information.
Please come forward to donate. Every donation counts!
