The Urgent Need for PPE in Delhi NCR Hospitals
Doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff across Delhi-NCR Hospitals and Clinics, attending patients suffering from COVID-19 are in dire need of YOUR support! Despite large funds being raise by the GOI and State Governments, often the delivery of PPE takes time, which leaves an urgent gap to be fulfilled.
The hospitals so far that have requested for PPE kits include:
- AIIMS Delhi
- Safdarjung Hospital
- Civil Hospital Gurgaon
- Shri Jagannath Charitable Cancer Hospital
- Arihant Hospital & Research Center (Indore)
- Various Delhi Government Hospitals

Types of PPE Required & Costs
YOUR donations will go a long way in helping the hospital staff have adequate supply and availability of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) that includes Cap Cover, Face Mask N95, Hand Glove, Surgical Gown, Shoes Cover along with Hand Sanitizers, Hand Wash Liquid and 3-Ply Mask.
As mentioned, Delhi NCR hospitals need support beyond what is being facilitated by the Government of India. This will help safeguard the staff, Doctors, nurses and all the volunteers who are selflessly working towards containing the spread of COVID19 and towards further restricting the same.
The PPE is sourced from verified suppliers and then personally delivered by the team of NDCHRC volunteers to the hospitals. For your reference, the market prices for PPE are as follows:
- 3ply masks: INR 10 per piece
- Venus N 95: INR 180 per piece
- PPE kits: INR 850 per piece
