We are a Gen-z initiative combating menstrual taboos via awareness programs and donations of sanitary napkin by donations and raising funds through donations. Our organization is registered as an initiative of a charitable trust in India called the Dr.Shanti Patel Memorial Trust, and we are a chapter of The Period Society based in Jalpaiguri.
We do surveys and awareness programs by taking sessions offline or online providing knowledge of various menstrual problems breaking the stigma and also hosting pad distributions.
Our past events have allowed us to donate sanitary napkins to 1500+ menstruators and organize menstrual hygiene awareness programs. Amala Rakta was our first event where we provided sanitary pads to more than 750 houses of the village Bandiguri, Jalpaiguri.
Any amount that you donate will help us help the needy. We believe every menstruator has a right to menstrual equity be it low income communities. Help them bleed with dignity.
We also hold educational session with various shelter homes, orphanages, etc creating awarness to eradicate the myths and stigma related to menstruation. Last year we held one of these session with Anubhab home and also provided them sanitary napkins.
