Dinesh is my student - Sharmika's - father. He is a painter. At work on Friday evening, he complained of giddiness and fainted. His family admitted him at a Government hospital which didn't seem to help. On Saturday morning, he had become paralysed on the left side of his whole body, so his family shifted him to a private hospital where he has been receiving the medical treatment he needs.

You can help lower the financial burden on Dinesh's family by contributing to this fundraiser. Currently, his wife is taking loans at heavy interest rates to pay the hospital charges. She is already in a lot of debt as she has to pay the college fees of her elder daughter - Reena - who is in the first year of her studies. I have been closely associated with this family since 2015, first as Sharmika's school teacher for 2 years and then as her tutor from 2017 onwards through my NGO, Yein Udaan.
