Hello, I am Dimpy Dutta, a Masters first year student from Tezpur University. I have lost both of my parents within a few years of each other. And then my brother passed away in an accident last November. I went to stay with my own sister and her husband, but this year, I found out that they have taken away my share of inheritance left behind. When I dared to raise my voice, they threw me out of the house. Most of the other family members are not helping since I am the youngest and I raised my voice. So here I am with everything I have, going from friend's house to house every month, surviving on the gratitude of people. My university friends and professors have been helping me a great deal since my ordeal. But I cannot ask them to take such a responsibility time after time. So, I am once again asking on the gratitude of people to help me get back to my feet. I don't have much money left, people are wary of giving accommodation to a girl with no job. I have been taking tuitions but that has left me with no time for my own studies and PGs may close down with another possible lockdown in Tezpur.
The money if raised, will cover electricity and other dues at my home in Sivsagar, the one I haven't gone back to since my brother's death and education fees. It will also go towards legal fees that will help me get back part of my inheritance that my parents left behind for me. I have been going place to place with the luggage in the cover photo, that only fits in a car. I hope this helps me get back on my feet and I will be forever grateful towards anyone who helps me.
