Mr Dilipkumar S Jani is devastated. A humble Paanwala, earning his living with dignity was suddenly diagnosed with TB in December 2019. While still under medication for TB, he was further diagnosed for nasal cancer (Nasopharynx-Stage IE) in February 2020.

Just then, the country went under lockdown. The corona Pandemic hit him hard. Although he was not infected with Corona Virus, it impacted the treatment. He was forced to discharge from the hospital early as the hospital was converted to Corona ward. Even the much necessary Chemotherapy was not administered as the hospitals refused other patients in fear of them contracting the virus.
The lockdown also hit his business. The shop being in the containment zone, it was strictly shut. With no means of income and increase expense, all his savings have vanished.
He is on the path to recovery. He can be cured, but will have to spend beyond his capacity. With no income support, he is looking up to you for the support. Help Elder Care Trust help him and his family live a healthy life beyond the covid era.
