My village Manjra near Malegaon[Nasik, Maharashtra] is suffering from drought for the last 5-6 months.  Below average rainfall this year has created havoc in this area. Being an area of only 50 cm average rainfall water scarcity has been severe. cattles are suffering the most as their sustenance is becoming a loss for farmers, as water is daily supplied by tankers and the cost of fodder has also substantially increased. Only option left for farmers has been now to sell their animals which later somehow end up in slaughter houses.
We intend to provide fodder ,water to animals and  built a rescue house for them in village and sustain them for 2-3 months. Funds collected by this campaign will be used for this purpose only and to build hydroponic fodder machine.
