Welcome to our wedding fundraiser! Eswar and I are getting married on 23rd March this year and like most couples, we ran through ideas of how to communicate to family and friends who were keen on giving us a gift. After several unsuccessful attempts, we realized that we both had a strong affinity towards supporting rural education in India.
Eswar & I have been blessed with good education, safe & clean environment and strong family support in our lives. It is not lost on us that there are many in this country who are deprived of the same early childhood experiences, where children have to drop out of school due to lack of financial support. After speaking to a close friend, we found that Dhai Akshar Educational Trust, Versova, Mumbai https://www.dhaiakshar.org/ works tirelessly to provide good education & experiences for children.
Apart from providing education, Dhai Akshar Educational Trust also provides community development, counselling for children, their families and support for their own volunteers.
Nothing would make us more happy than to know that as we start this new journey together, thousands of kids get a chance to experience the same fun & joy!
We would like to raise at least Rs. 3,00,000 (3 Lakhs INR / 3940 USD / 3570 EUR) for this cause and hope that you will join us in supporting it.
