In this particular fundraiser we are aiming to not just raise awareness for the Mental Health issues people are facing amid the pandemic, but also understand that there are people in our own vicinity who cannot sustain themselves in the long run. This Pandemic has helped us see the reality of our privileges and we request your help us provide the means to people finding that mental comfort. A number of people who have been quarantined with their psychological abusers, quarantined with people who have worsened their anxieties as they tried to cope with this Pandemic lack the financial stability to be able to afford therapy. Our aim is to simply facilitate their betterment.
In order to ensure that the funds do not get lost en route, our team will get in touch with the person's therapist and a direct transfer will be made to the therapist after the session. The world is moving towards a major economic and social crisis wherein people as individuals are losing touch with themselves. We strongly believe that good mental health can make a life-changing difference to not just one persons life, but also in the society.
We are also organising an Online Spoken Word Poetry open mic (Kaafila) on 6th June and a Music Open Mic (Taskeen) on 13th June to raise more awareness about the projects we have undertaken and bring art into people's lives.
