The fund is being raised for Devi, a sincere woman, who worked as a maid in four households to pay off her loans and debts. Due to unforeseen circumstances, this family had to loan money from various sources. The money was being used to treat her father-in-law who was aged and ill and finally succumbed to it.

While this was going on, her husband was diagnosed as COVID positive on April 8, 2021  due to which she had to visit multiple hospitals just to get one bed for him. Availing a hospital bed in the middle of a pandemic is a struggle in itself.
During  this phase she never realised her BP had shot up due to stress and so did her sugar levels which led to her slumping down.
Now the only caretaker of the family had become a patient herself and she was rushed to the hospital for this emergency however, she was refused admission on multiple grounds.
Thankfully, ESI hospital admitted her and began emergency medications and asked her to report to NIMHANS for further treatment.

They are currently living hand to mouth and need money for simple needs like stool commode, wheel chair and for medicines and hospital treatment and charges.  Currently her husband hardly has any money due to the fact that whatever money they had has already been exhausted on the treatment expenses of other family members.
