Generous appeal to all! 

My name is Karishma, 27, and I am here to raise funds for my father, Devender Sharma, who is 71 years old. We reside in New Delhi, Delhi and we only have each other as a support system. He is currently retired.

To support a family of two and manage expenses of my dad's treatment, I'm working as a school teacher. 

My father has been in a critical medical condition for the past one year. A few months back, he was diagnosed with Dementia, Chronic Kidney Disease, Coronary Artery Disease, Seizure disorder, and Pleural Effusion and was kept on ventilator support for weeks till he regained consciousness. He was being treated with medications and other device support, and was bed ridden since then, until now when he developed Pleural effusion again due to deteriorated heart function possibly caused by a heart attack. His Lungs collapsed twice and went into a systemic failure, due to which he was kept on ventilator support again and now has been on Bipap. 

He was back home in a critical respiratory condition and was undergoing Bipap treatment alongside nebulization and other treatments at home itself until he had to be admitted yet again due to same issues at PSRI hospital and in the meantime he has developed Jaundice due to bladder stones as well. If the conditions worsen, tracheotomy would be immediately required to be done to keep him on Ventilator support. 

In the past 7 Months, a total of more than INR 45,00,000 has been spent on his treatment from our savings and the insurance. And more than my entire salary has been spent on his treatment since then in these months, making it difficult for me to cope up with the medical expenses.
