    This fundraiser will benefit

    Deejay Agri Support Foundation

    from Bengaluru (Bangalore) Urban, Karnataka

My name is Alok and I am here to fund-raise for Deejay Agri Support Foundation, Bengaluru who is carrying an excellent work to help poor farmers and give them a financial security.

I will begin with an impact-full story of Mr. Ashokan
                           Mr. Ashokan, Tamil Nadu

Mr.  T V Ashokan, a small farmer from Tamil Nadu was earning Rs. 10,000 per month. Later he planted 350 Sampoorna Hybrid Coconut seedlings in 5 acres and they changed his life. Today he earns around Rs. 80,000 per month and he is able to fulfill his financial needs and also he is a well-respected individual in his village and leads a comfortable life.

Similarly, There are so many farmers out there who are facing crises year by year. Let's unite, help and support such poor farmers across India.

In India, nearly 70% of farmers are small. About 67% of farmers hold less than one acre of land. CSDS (Centre for the Study of Developing Societies) report says about 76% of farmers want to give up farming.
So many of our farmers fall into this category. Many of them - who feed the rest of us – they themselves go hungry.  Debt enforced by circumstances outside their control, failure of the rains, and collapse of their crops, makes suffering and hunger their constant companion.  Sadly many are forced to take the fatal way out! For generation after generation, this situation continues.  Is there no solution?  Yes, there is!

Deejay Agri Support Foundation [DASF]  [https://dasf.org.in] helps poor farmers by providing them financial security and a monthly stable income by giving them a High Quality Hybrid Coconut Seedlings. These variety of seedlings are 3 times more productive and gives 3 times higher yield than other varieties.

DASF is supporting 300 plus poor farmer families in Karnataka. Through their program (project) a farmer will start to earn a stable monthly income of Rs. 3000 in his/her future. This income will help farmers to reduce their dependency on money lender. Like this, DASF wishes to help around 100 more women farmers. It would cost them Rs. 5,00,000 to provide all kinds of material including seedlings and training to reach higher yield.
