Badminton is like a drug for this 18 year old. He needs your support

18 Year Old Dattathreya Reddy is leaving no stone unturned in his quest to become a part of India's National Badminton Team. At the age of 15, in 2014, he won bronze in National ranking under 15 and is constantly creating waves in the Indian badminton scene.
Coached by the famous Goverdhan Reddy he is amongst the most talented badminton athletes in his age group. Dattathreya hails from a small town in Andhra Pradesh called Kadapa. His journey from Kadapa to hyderbad has been awe-inspiring.
Dattathreya's father Venkata Rami Reddy, who is now a primary teacher in a government school used to play badminton in his childhood however with limited facilities and limited encouragement he was unable to go too far. Venkat always wanted his son to take up sports and wants him to completely focus on his game.
Since he could not afford Dattathreya's training with his own salary he took loan on interest. He wants his son to make his own place on whatever he does.

To achieve his dream Dattathreya follows  an extremely rigorous schedule which looks like this:
6-8 am: gym and fitness training like sprints.
11-2 pm: on court training
2-4 pm: Break/Rest
5-8 pm: on court training-

Dattathreya says "there is a lot of hard work I have to put in. So I do it anyhow"

Currently, he is writing his 12th board exams and since last few months, he had to put an extra effort to prepare for his final exams, after the intensive training he used to come home and study.

Why should you contribute?

Dattathreya needs funds to go to national tournaments for under 19.
Train tickets, lodging, food expenses cost 5k-6k per tournament.
5-7 under 19 national tournaments held in a year. In order to progress further, his talent needs to be polished by playing such tournaments.

Apart from that Dattatreya's training expenses come around 14000 per month (8000 hostel charges and 6000 on his equipment) his father is somehow managing the expenses by taking loans however it would become tough eventually. His mother has already sold her jewelry to make sure that he is able to go to Hyderabad and get the training.
Today he is ranked in the top 16 in under 17 category and under top 25 in under 19 category. He has won a Silver in under 17 category and Bronze in under 19 category.

Your support will help him reach the top.
