Who we are:
Credo Foundation is created with a vision to support the underprivileged of our society who are undergoing tremendous hardships in the current crisis. Amid the Covid-19, many sections of the society are left stranded and helpless. Our aim is to provide food, grocery supplies, medical supplies and other essentials to people who need it the most.
Why is it important:
This is important because 1000s of migrants, labourers and helpless families are left stranded in Mumbai and across the country. They were put up in relief camps without proper food and shelter. With no livelihood, they are suffering from hunger and poverty.
What have we done:
We run kitchens in Taloja region of Navi-mumbai and Lower Parel
region of Mumbai. We prepare cooked meals daily for lunch and dinner. Each meal costs us 28/-
that includes grocery, supplies, gas, electricity, labour and packaging. During this crisis, we managed to Feed 1.91 lacs
people in regions such as rabale, Mahul, Mankhurd, Malad, Panvel, ulwe
and many more regions.
We also delivered 6,700kg groceries
with hope and positivity. Each grocery kit cost us 750/- for serving a family for 4 for 10 days
The total expenditure has come to 54 lacs as on date. Due to severe crisis of funds, we had to stop the kitchens.
Help we need:
We managed to invest more than 15 lacs from our own funds and raised 24 lacs through our network of friends and family. But now we have exhausted all our funds. Much as we would have loved to feed more people, we are already falling short of ₹15 lacs. Please help by donating or sharing the fundraiser with your friends and family.
