A 50 bed COVID quarantine center is setup at the Heartfulness Center at Manapakkam, Chennai. The scope of the COVID Care facility is primarily for mild and moderate cases of COVID who require quarantine facilities.

Heartfulness Institute is partnering with CIPACA, a medical services provider, to provide the medical care for patients at this facility. Doctors & nurses will be available on duty round the clock at these facilities to monitor the vitals, provide food, medical support and medication. Through CIPACA’s partnership with 4 hospitals, any patient who require more intense medical care will be transferred to these hospitals.

Heartfulness Institute is sponsoring the infrastructure and medical equipment costs, accommodation and food expenses.
The operational expenses of this COVID care facility works out to Rs. 2,500 per person per day.
