Corona is affecting India in the worst way. What's happening to the hordes of Covid positive patients in remote towns and villages is hardly written about or seen.
Please help us to serve our Nagapattinam that's suffering from shortage of Oxygen. We are raising funds to provide oxygen concentrators, protective gear for frontline workers and Nutritional support for positive people and marginalised communities.

Nagapattinam is a remote and backward district in Tamilnadu, where agriculture and fishing are the main occupations. The district does not have any industry and attracts meagre tourism to the Shrine Velankanni basilica. We do not have a single private hospital in the district. All Covid patients are treated at the two main government hospitals in Nagapattinam and Vedaranyam. Severe cases are referred to neighbouring districts, but the second wave has made medium and intensive care a scarcity all over.
We are coming to you with a plea to help us overcome this second wave of the pandemic. We are sourcing oxygen concentrators to donate to two government hospitals in the district and to support positive patients.
The oxygen concentrators are machines used to produce oxygen by separating it from the air and provide directly to patients using it. We are planning to buy 5-litre and 10-litre concentrators which can be used in hospitals.
The cost of the concentrators are going up every minute given the demand and we are trying to procure it at the earliest.
The cost of a 5-litre oxygen concentrator is Rs. 65000/- to Rs. 75000/- &
The cost of a 10-litre oxygen concentrator is Rs. 125000/- to Rs. 150000/-
We need atleast 20 concentrators urgently to serve the positive patients.
We will ensure that we are buying the oxygen concentrators from authorised vendors and track the utilisation of them in the hospitals.
