IT'S AN OXYGEN BATTLE EVERY DAY
As India's pandemic grows ever more dystopian with crematoriums running out of space and patients, concerned citizens have been stepping in to help out those in distress. Coronavirus pandemic is ground-breaking in scale & need and is affecting communities worldwide.

In the wake of the second wave of COVID, the availability of oxygen cylinders is a major challenge across the country. Many hospitals are finding it difficult to provide oxygen to the patients. To help COVID patients, battling low oxygen saturation levels and respiratory infections, SAVE THE QUEST is providing FREE OXYGEN CYLINDERS across Delhi/NCR.
We are also helping patients by providing valid leads of oxygen cylinders to those unable to find hospital beds in different cities like Lucknow, Bihar, Kanpur, etc.
INNOCENT PEOPLE ARE PAYING THE PRICE
This outbreak endangers everyone's way of life, but above all it is exhausting for people who are already vulnerable, including those with pre-existing medical conditions, older people, people who don’t even have a place to live, refugees and migrants, wage workers, vegetables & fruits hawkers, widows and many more. The demand for Oxygen, food, mask, sanitizer, and other essentials around New Delhi has been increased.

Portable oxygen cylinders are the only way for patients in a serious condition to keep breathing at home when they can't find a hospital bed which is a major issue in Delhi. The situation is becoming more URGENT with each passing day.

OUR PROJECT
Amid a shortage of hospital beds and oxygen supplies in the country, SAVE THE QUEST reportedly came to the rescue of patients. Our team is arranging and delivering FREE OXYGEN CYLINDERS for COVID-19 patients as per their requests across Delhi/NCR. On a single day, our team is providing free oxygen cylinders to 5-10 patients across Delhi/NCR.
There is a dire requirement of oxygen for many Covid-19 positive patients in Delhi/NCR. This service has been started since the beginning of the second wave in India to help COVID-19 positive patients who need oxygen and are not able to find the gas anywhere.

Since the second Covid wave hit the country, SAVE THE QUEST has ramped up its relief work for the affected, and estimated that in the month of April only, it has provided 100+ oxygen cylinders to people across Delhi/NCR. The oxygen can be availed by patients who need the life-saving gas for free. We hope that patients get some relief through the good work carried out by our team.

Not just oxygen cylinders, our team has also been helping people in Delhi/NCR by providing essential medicines for COVID-19 treatment, such as Azithromycin, Vitamin C Zinc, Doxycycline, Paracetamol, Multi-Vitamins, etc. We’re happy that lives are being saved because of our good deeds.
We are continuously collecting updates about how the coronavirus is hitting emergency responses in vulnerable communities and supporting them in the best possible manner.

WHAT THEY NEED?
A critical Covid-19 patient’s medical oxygen requirement is approximately 86,000 litres per day. With cases exploding, our country is looking to stack up on the vital life-saver. Covid-19 primarily infects the lungs in the affected individuals and in severe cases, causes death due to Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) and pneumonia. As COVID induces shortage of oxygen in the body due to its impact on lungs, patients are immediately shifted into oxygen therapy or put on ventilators, in critical cases, to keep their vital functions active. Oxygen acts as a life-saver for COVID patients.

SAVE THE QUEST (STQ), is a non-profit organization that has come forward to help poor and needy people in every possible way.
STQ was founded in the year 2014 by a young social entrepreneur, Saif Ahmad Khan who further brought the group together to contribute towards betterment of the society with a focus on child education, holistic child development and empowerment of visually impaired children. In just 7 years, STQ has transformed the lives of over 30 thousands underprivileged and visually impaired people.
We are a charitable trust registered under the Indian Trust Act of 1882, Section 60 (Registration no. 822) based in Delhi.
*Since March, 2020, we have managed to help 5000+ poor and vulnerable families by distributing free ration packages and fed 20,000+ people across South Delhi.
