My name is Vaishali Jain. I have started this fundraiser to support Dr. Alvira Shah in her mission to provide treatment to Covid patients in her hospital at Aligarh. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read my appeal.
Dr. Alvira Shah runs a charitable foundation for the last 10 years helping children achieve their dreams and helping the needy. They are also running two hospitals, a 20 bedded and a 50 bedded hospital.
Right now, due to the need of the hour, she has taken up the fight against Covid.
As of today, India is undergoing a severe second wave with the world’s highest daily cases. Hospitals and healthcare providers are running out of resources in the fight against COVID-19 and the situation on the ground is dire.
Imagine a healthcare worker crying and requesting with folded hands to an equally helpless & devastated patient’s family to take the patient to any place where they can find some Oxygen to support the life for some more time, and this is a cruel reality happening every few hours in hospitals today.
Requests: The Hospital needs oxygen concentrators (estimated INR 500,000) and they also need to set up an oxygen plant (estimated INR 15,00,000) so that the current oxygen needs can be met and they can treat people as much as possible.

We aim to raise INR 20,00,000 (approx USD-30,000$) through this campaign.
