The Covid-19 pandemic second wave has affected more Indians than any statistical figures can comprehend.
We are trying to garner help and support from philanthropists and organizations to support the second and third tier towns and rural areas of Karnataka.
This assistance will be used to prepare home isolation kits, run mass kitchens, get the colonies sanitized and have few oxygen concentrators banks where concentrators can be rotated and provided in the community at no cost. We call this Stay Well India- A Covid 19 Resilience Initiative. In this initiative, many of our friends and well-wishers have decided to join hands and send support to Karnataka. It cannot be emphasized enough how much help is needed in these times since the existing health and economic infrastructure is not adequate to meet the current crisis.
As an immediate relief, some measures being taken up by us are:
1.Arrange food ration kits per family at Rs.1,000.00 per kit.
2.One cooked meal for one person is Rs.50.00 (through Mass kitchens for three hot and fresh meals a day)
3. Vegetables & Greens bag for each family is Rs 200.00.
3.Home isolation kits with vitamins, essential generic medicines, oximeters, and thermometers is Rs. 1200-1500 per person.
4.Oxygen Concentrator: Rs. 75,000.00 per concentrator
5.Oxygen Cylinders – Rs.15,000- 20,000per cylinder
