India is facing one of its most challenging health crises in history due to the COVID 19 pandemic. Lack of adequate life support systems such as oxygen supply, availability of hospital beds, and access to doctors and medical treatment has only aggravated the issue further. With limited hospital admissions available, no reliable sources of supply of oxygen and distribution issues, COVID-19 patients with moderate to acute symptoms rely on oxygen cylinders and oxygen concentrators at their homes.
Through our Oxygen for India campaign, we aim to deliver oxygen cylinders and oxygen concentrators to those in dire need. We work with partners to establish a robust oxygen supply system for India and help people get oxygen cylinders and concentrators at no cost.
Our process involves identifying the beneficiary, managing the supply of cylinder at zero cost, and ensuring the return of the cylinder for refill and reuse.
Post Recovery Assistance for the Poor
Recovering medically from Covid-19 is just the beginning. The needy and impoverished across the country are deprived of gainful employment and the means to make ends meet. Mannan is providing food and shelter assistance throughout the country in collaboration with other NGOs in India.
