Dear citizen, it's good to see that the second wave of the Corona pandemic is being controlled gradually and we are much better as compared to where we all were in the month of April, May, and June. With this positive development in our country, it's also true that at the same time people are not able to come out of the trauma that they had; because of loss of life, loss of job, future earning opportunity or options and started thinking about 3rd wave and the future ahead for survival.
There are sections of people who are just thinking to survive for some more months as they think that things will be normal while mass people are getting vaccinated and travel getting less restricted, big corporates opening up their office and waiting for their turn for vaccination.
Eco Alarmist NGO group observed this plight of people while they visited areas like Borjalenga Pt. II, Taranathpur Pt. I & II & Forest Village is inhabited by Khasi, Naga, Tribal people of the Cachar district of Silchar, Assam for their other projects. The majority of the male population used to work under security agencies in big Corporates in Bangalore for their earning and sending them back to their families. As these It firms are operating virtually now so they don't need security and housekeeping staff for the time being.

They are from Borjalenga Pt. II, Taranathpur Pt. I & II & Forest Village inhabited by Khasi, Naga, Tribal people. These places are in Cachar district in Assam.

The plight of these people
They are being faced with the twin burden of surviving against the deadly COVID-19 as well as battling hunger on a daily basis.
