The nationwide humanitarian crisis that we see undauntedly growing and developing all around us is one that seeks to continue its trend upwards to the point of taking a permanent foothold within all our lives.

The virus and the sociological destruction it causes spares no one, which has made it particularly clear that no citizen of this country wishes for this catastrophe to continue any longer, may they be the rich and the powerful residing at the very top of the socio-cultural hierarchy, or the very desperately underprivileged who make up the bulk of the country’s workforce, fundamentally being the foundation of the organized structure that holds this country together and carries it through every kind of adversity.

Although what we are witnessing now is that foundation excruciatingly needing help from the rest of us irrespective of the kind of help that may be. We at the Awaaz Foundation, have given and continue to give proper recognition to that fact by doing what we can with the limited resources we possess. We have created several groups, connected people from all over the country to coordinate resources, and have begun the process of providing free food to the needy. However, we have also recognized that even with all these efforts, we are not asserting the kind of impact we seek to achieve. The one thing our circumstances inexpressibly dictate is that it is essential to do even more.

In order to proceed to the next stage of countering the ongoing crises that remain unhindered and rigorously unshaken, we have come to the decision of organizing an official fundraiser. The things we seek to do and the productive initiatives we wish to implement are activities that require significantly more resources in terms of financial support and volunteerism. We wish to do what is necessary which is stepping out into the wilderness of chaos and providing and allocating the resources that are essential to stop the situation from aggravating further. With your donations, we plan to provide food, oxygen supplies (cylinders, refills, and concentrators), transportation services, financial assistance, and medicative support to the ones out there struggling so mortifyingly to survive.

The fact is recognizable and agreeable that the devastation from the crises has developed to be so severe that every single contribution holds the capability of having a macroscopic impact on entire communities of people. Every little donation can save lives, bring families together, ensure the ones struggling do not sleep on an empty stomach and ensure that people laying on hospital beds, on roads, and on sidewalks do not die gasping for oxygen.

We at Awaaz, remain driven by the fundamental principle that every life that can be saved must be saved, and your donations and contributions bring us multiple steps closer towards achieving that idea. It is about time we started making sure that preventable adversities are brought to a standstill, which is why we at the Awaaz Foundation humbly and most desperately request you to donate what you can so we can get to work directly doing what really matters, which is saving lives.
