Recent floods in Maharashtra have damaged crops on over 4 lakh hectares in Western and Northern part of state. The torrential rains have destroyed many Kharif crops as well as sugarcane. The affected areas are agriculturally prosperous with large acreages under soyabean, groundnut, jowar, rice and sugarcane.
Its our moral duty to do our bit in saving the loss accounted by farmers of Maharashtra. A donation of 100/ 500 or 1000 Rs will not bring much change in your life but will be a life changer for these farmers who are struggling with heavy loans pressing on them.
