Hello everyone,
We are Chitra Nair and Madhurshalini, students of IGDTUW, an all women technical University in New Delhi.
We've been working on creating impact in our communities through-out our college days through Street-Theatre (by raising awareness of crucial issues) and by achieving United Nations SDGs ( by building high impact Social service projects ). Creating Social impact is one thing we both are truly passionate about and that has been something we've aimed for through our research work as well.
Today, our first research paper we've been working on in the past year ( on making dermatology care accessible in place of severe scarcity of healthcare ) has been accepted to the Artificial Intelligence for GOOD conference, organised by the International Telecommunications Union, a specialised agency of the United Nations.
The conference aims on utilising Artificial Intelligence to achieve the sustainable development goals of the United Nations by 2030.
This is a huge opportunity for us to
a) present our research work
b) expand our perspective on how AI is and will be used for Sustainable Development which is something we are truly passionate about and wish to pursue in the future.
Thanks to COVID, the conference is taking place virtually this year instead of Geneva, Switzerland saving us the cost of travel and accommodations.
However, being recent graduates we do not have the funds to register for the conference. We need $550 before the 7th of September to present our paper.
We would really appreciate any contribution you make here helping achieve one of our long held dream taking our research perspective one step higher.
Thank you so much for your time.
