My mother - Kalyani Chintalapati will be able to undergo Liver Transplantation Surgery at AIG hospitals. I (Srikar Chintalapati, the patient's son) is also the liver donor. AIG Hospitals, Gachibowli, Hyderabad gave an estimation of rupees 25,00,000/- for this surgery. We are from a lower-middle-class family and would not be able to afford this surgery as I and my sister are still studying and my father is a Purohit who performs Hindu rituals.विद्या ददाति विनयं विनयाद्याति पात्रताम्

The very concept of society is for the good of all the involved parties and this is also where a great tenet of karma-yoga comes. Since whatever you have, has come due to the collective effort of the society as a whole (e.g. the clothes you wear, the food you eat, car you drive, could not be created by you alone, it needed society's collaboration), similarly the money and resource you have under your control are also for all, you merely have the control over its use as per the shastra.
When we give cheerfully and accept gratefully, everyone is blessed. It's good to be blessed. It's better to be a blessing. One good thing about donation, once you do it, you get addicted to it because it brings great joy and happiness to you.
