Scenario:
Shelter Homes are Child Care Institutions where children from varied backgrounds end up owing to their undesired situations.
Shelter homes rely on the donations to run at a full swing. With the pandemic striking twice, the number of donations and people who support shelter homes have plummeted.
About Us:
Humanity Uplifting Mankind(HUManity) is a registered NGO working towards uplifting the children in shelter homes. Currently, we are carrying out our operations at three shelter homes in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
Problem:
We were approached by one of the shelter authorities in Kancherapalem, Visakhapatnam for support in procuring Groceries, medicines and Gas. They have 30 children residing in the shelter home. They are running out of essentials and children are in need of immunity boosting medicines.
Response:
HUManity plans to procure the essentials to the shelter home at the earliest through the safest and time efficient method.
We are setting up a HUManity Child Relief Fund(HCRF) to constantly support the Shelter Homes in making sure the Children are safe and healthy.
100% of the donations to HCRF will be utilized to provide essential services to children in shelter homes.
