Strange isn’t it?
In the case of Disha and many other children, we failed to understand their emotional needs. Emotional disorders can profoundly affect areas like schoolwork and school attendance. This is not just a story of one girl but a WHO study says that every 1 in 5 children suffers from mental health issues.
Through our research, we found out that Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) can help children with their holistic development. SEL enables children to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain a positive relationship, and make informed decisions. SEL helps children grow emotionally, academically and holistically.
We at HOPE envision a world where children thrive and not just survive. Our 2-year fellowship programme will serve 360+ children from underserved communities in Bhopal where fellows will mentor children and facilitate safe spaces for their holistic development.

Our money goes towards the salaries of our fellows and resources for our children. It cost us INR 25000 per month for a fellow.
Sponsor a fellow for them to reach 90 children.
