Now, brother of my friend, C Pavan Kumar, is suffering from MUCORMYCOSIS. He recovered from Covid 19 and initially was diagnosed with ASPERGILLOSIS. He had undergone FESS surgery in Private Hospital, Hyderabad On 3rd JUNE 2021. The culture test after surgery showed growth of mucor fungal colonies after 5 days of incubation. Now he needs LIPOSOMAL AMPHOTERICIN B treatment course for 21 DAYS, which would cost around 4-5 lakhs.
