charai tails take in pups in need  and run a revolving door family plus they vaccinate and sterilize as many community dogs as they can. They dont deal in large numbers as run by a single person but they do QUALITY of life the homes the dogs go to are good and checked and the dogs are loved. Last year they had about 50 sterilized vaccinated and homed.

Hi All,
Ginger has been homed..and really it's a fairy tale ending. she is living with a young man who works from home, adores her is used to having a tail as part of the family. Sleeps inside with himself and has the run of the property including a terrace. So Her prince arrived and Ginger has finally been installed as the lady of the household!
Back here Polo has been particularly impacted by Gingers going as part of her daily routine was to annoy Ginger.

This month we have Chicku, at Nila Home Stay, Melinda, Peru, Panama and Serb to vaccinate (Rs 500 each plus vet nurse fee) also we will set a date hopefully for Scarlett, Jack, Chicku and Blanche to be sterilized. I am still not sure if Melinda will be looked after properly after the op but she too is a possibility.

Gheldof has settled well in his new home and is happy.  We are assisting Trix's owner's setting ideal but getting them to train her in is the issue.

Obama & Olive are still itching and although Obama has an issue with his paw still it is better. Ricketts doesn't stop Obama attempting to bully Blondie!!!

The pups aren't white, Here Obama and Olive had no tic powder. Polo is not as patient as she might be but won't be outdone by Blondie.
They eat really well and are still on puppy milk powder plus added calcium. At the vets now as we need to go onto the next stage of skin treatment. Olive has next to no fur and Obama is all yellow scabs.  They have won our hearts though Obama is not afraid at Polo barking at him, which did not help her self esteem and they both let it be known when they want attention, food, and company even at midnight!!!

Dear Supporters,

Little Olive looking after her brother sleepy Obama.  These 2 joined us on independence day with their brother Olli, who sadly was to weak for us to help. Severely undernourished & full of maggots they spent all their time eating and sleeping for the first 3 days..(drawing the maggots out really tormented the poor babies). They are really eating well, have the energy to play and have a few fights and have made friends with Polo, who is still a little scared of her new babies & Blondie. Their coats are in a state and they are still losing skin BUT both only have one small open wound left.
What we are worried about now is their little paws, pictured here by their rescuers,
and their mobility which this video shows.... Obama

I have sent them to Felican hoping they would xray and do a blood test but they were adamant its rickets and have prescribed calcium and Vit D supplement, they are young we shall see if this has an impact in the next 2 weeks...while their bones are growing and soft I am sure we can prevent/minimize any long term mobility issues.

Hi All,

Krishna has been feeding the beach dogs. Melinda gave birth while I was in the hospital. We have since found out that someone took her pup far too young. However, all is not lost she has adopted this little fellow and has moved into the home!!! obviously feeding him too.

The family who owns the white pup has befriended Krish and we are hoping that they will have the pup vaccinated and sterilized when we have Melinda done. We will worm them this week.

Scarlett is good no new pics but there is this glorious video. and I still need to recover some before I can go with her to the vet and see if we can assist her mobility. Geldof goes to his new home Saturday.
+ Here giving Trix a kiss.
The 2 dogs Kathleen feeds have both been fully vaccinated and now our 3 Peru, Serb and Panama are due too. We plan to have Melinda, Blanche, and Kathleens 2 sterilized within the month Dusty may already be pregnant so we will have to wait with her.

Thank you.
